About Artwell Education :: As described in the National Standards for Arts Education, arts education benefits both student and society. The arts cultivate the whole person, gradually building many kinds of literacy while developing intuition, reasoning, imagination, and dexterity into unique forms of expression and communication. Content for instruction at Artwell is derived primarily from the disciplines of aesthetics, art criticism, art history, and art production. Study is drawn from a broad range of the visual arts, including folk, applied, and fine arts from Western and non-Western cultures and from ancient to contemporary times.
